Is there anyone out there still offering auto loan financing?

If our financial disaster continues there will be a widespread loss of faith in the mechanisms that regulate society.

That includes businesses that bought those silly mortgage derivatives; Wall Street firms that were leveraged 30 to 1; Freddie and Fannie; hedge funds; the auto industry and airline industry; AND homeowners who acted foolishly.

I'd tell a stranger Realtor asking for a copy of my credit report, so he or she can auto email me mls listings, to get lost.

The auto industry appears to be stepping up to the plate next, as they met with Pelosi and Reed today.

The value proposition I give to clients is not that it's too big and scary to do for themselves--you can also learn to become your own lawyer in order to defend yourself in court, or you can become a master mechanic in order to build your own car--the question is: do you want to do the work and research necessary to represent yourself competently?

Inspect the property to make sure none of the tenants are operating a business, daycare, beauty shop, auto repair, MARIJUANA GROWING or others.Make sure that you are credited at closing for the amount of ALL SECURITY DEPOSITS.

My advice is to stay clear of companies that ask for money upfront or want to auto charge credit cards via electronic funds transfer.
