With the current housing market being so competitive, how do you see private money lending playing a role in securing properties quickly?

I'm focused on small to mid-sized multifamily properties in south central and eastern NC, and I’d love to connect with others that are actively investing and operating in these areas.

Used to merely be a money grab but a few years ago the regulations changed and if a violation was active on your property you could not get your rental license renewed.

Secondly I just finished "Real Estate by the Numbers" also by Dave Meyer - even though I have a business degree and am actively involved in investing it was a really great refresher on not just the numbers and theories involved in real estate decisions but also the pros and cons of different return metrics and how all the metrics relate to one another. 

The U.S. economy added more jobs than expected, which signals robust economic activity and pressures the Federal Reserve to maintain higher interest rates to combat inflation.

My plan was to be a GP on a syndication and that was also one of my biggest concerns, how was I going to play such a big role on so many units while being a lot younger (less trustworthy in some eyes) and no real estate experience?

Update:  Currently (as of Oct. 27) I have 31 active MTRs in buildings I own and manage in the near-west Chicago Suburbs.  29 are occupied and 2 are vacant.
