This allows me to log into my home PC and pull up Rent Manager ( my property management program), the marketing tracker spreadsheets, documents for deals in progress etc that aren't already stored on my portable 500GB hard drive that i use with the laptop.

If you want money people, you are networking in the wrong places with RE types, they know the game, what you need are private investors that you can inform, so long as you have the necessay knowledge.Civic organizations, the Red Cross, Literacy Council, Hospital Volunteers, Friends of the Library, Church groups, etc. are things the retirees get involved with doing community service.
