Hi everyone, my tenant asking me to lower 20% of rent, which is a lot and kind of greedy, or he is seeking the option of breaking the lease. ( how ever I do know that he recently lost his job) Should I offer a 8% discount to keep him or should I just let him break the lease?

I mean these guys are getting pretty d*** greedy when they want their skim and then they want buyers to kick in also.  

We are talking about 8k dollars, don't lose a deal because you are greedy.  

It's going to really tricky to work with seller agents to choose the right buyers and tell sellers not to get greedy I am really being optimistic and also with new government, interest won't go anywhere which is going to put more buyers on the road for new homes.

Basically - don't be greedy, purchase title insurance, be transparent, and help those who help you.

I think I felt too greedy and wanted the benefit of collecting two rent payments.

Of course this is an uncomfortable situation for them so I don’t want to act like I would benefiting from their misfortune and I don’t want to seem greedy.
