If you are able to obtain one, then there would be no need to wait for the redemption period to end, as long as there isn't any other lien holders.

If it were a premium style auction anything paid by the lien cert holder above the taxes the county will return to the lien holder.

I like QuestIRA.com as they were able to accept the blank assignment from the fund my Roth bought a note with, unlike other funds that want the note holder to assign it to you before they send the money.

Put yourself down as a lien holder but don't finance any transaction, if the rents aren't paid the revisionary agreement allows you to buy back the interest and retitle it.

The number one and two holders of timber in the US are the Harvard endowment fund and John Hancock.. there is a reason for that.. follow in your dads footsteps the timber business was very very good to me and its a great business.

IE you are not the buyer, seller, etc.As an investor you are the buyer, seller, contract holder, or you simply work as a consultant for a flat fee to one of the forementioned roles in a RE Deal.Sounds worse than it is really.
