Seller needs more time to contact 2 other siblings in another state on if it’s OK to sell this property?!

Hello, What all do I need to worry about besides annual taxes if I end up inheriting 60 acres in South Texas from my grandmother and her siblings?

I am interested in opening up a group home to serve adults with special needs, as I have two siblings who will eventually need this type of care.

The more this deal progressed I learned there were three other siblings, their spouses and other relatives all with their hand in the cookie jar on this deal and they wanted it closed ASAP.

Best I can hope for is give my most trustworthy sibling power of attorney as a backup for major issues, and leave the rest to property management.

Getting an appraisal is a good idea if what you have in mind is a sale even if it is to a sibling,  make sure the appraisal is based on the value when you inherited.

He is going to discuss it with the other siblings (5) and will get back to me.

That still doesn't change the fact that with 7 siblings it can be real tough especially when they find out money is involved.
