While opening up the walls in the kitchen in our recent purchase -- a home built in the 40's with galvanized pipes -- I uncovered a leak in the wall behind the tub in the master bath.

It is so nice to have this network for support and educational purposes.

We have also been known to ask for a larger security deposit if there are risk factors uncovered in the screening process (lack of income, poor job history, no established credit, etc.) 

It's so nice to hear from other people in the area doing this.
