What matters is that the amount contributed is based on the correct figure of W-2 wages and that they are made by the business tax return due date plus any timely filed business tax return extension.If the entity type is an LLC taxed as an S-Corporation (calendar year), the annual solo 401k contribution deadline is March 15, or September 15 if tax return extension is filed.

One added detail is this other couple are family (my husband's sister) so we need everything written and laid out clearly but with the assumption we will operate within these boundaries without going to court...meaning we don't need every word to be air tight but need it to be clear cut (as a side note I'm not interested in hearing about horror stories of doing business with family, I have done real estate business with family for over ten years and am fine with it).

Appreciate the feedback - I hadn't realized refinance rates would be that high, so maybe it's better just to sit tight on the likely 4.875%.That said, I could be having the same worry 5 years from now if rates continue higher.

I have a lady who took out a mortgage on her property for 391 K she has paid 7 K in the property her first 10 years of owning the property was straight interest and she did not get to make payments towards the properties total cost until after the 10 years was up which is when she just paid the 7K she wants out of the home the property value has dropped to 350k which means that her mortgage that she owes the Stihl 391 so in order to get her back current I want to figure out a strategy that can get her back current that I can also make money on in a real estate deal transaction and also get her out of a tight situation
