Anyway, my real estate investing plan (as it exists today) is not focused on rapid growth, neither in terms of properties or wealth.  

This will be in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area...Rockwell Collins, Cargill, General mills, TransAmerica, Quaker, Schneider Electric, Dupont, Alliant Energy, several great companies around the area for the size of the city.

I am fairly new to bp as well and from the Rapid city area.  

Hang on a few more years and enjoy the very low vacancy, maintenance, and rapidly appreciating rent that comes with a condo in O4W.If you have a good tenant, then keep rent the same and don't think about the property except at renewal time.  

Does anyone know of any contractor that would be available in the coming 8 weeks to speak to about a project in East Grand Rapids?

Just thought I'd share a piece of information I received regarding the Landlord Class the city of Cedar Rapids, IA is requiring all landlords to take.

We have a rapidly developing market with some of the best deals in the country here.

If Dayton OH or Grand Rapids MI has rehabbing going on, Milwaukee WI should have more.

As someone who is living abroad.The world is rapidly changing, because we are becoming highly globalized.With the ability to fly almost anywhere within a 36 hour period.The internet is allowing me, living in Korea to write about this.My new smartphone is more powerful and has more hard drive space, (plus I think it's amazing) than my first computer.You concern that American real estate is going to become like the manufacturing sector is interesting, but nothing to fear.You job as an investor isn't being outsourced.Would you feel the same way if (insert big bank, BofA, etc) came in and bought all the properties?

We couldn't continue this "philosophy" and continue growing as rapidly as we wish.
