I was working in corporate as a Senior Aeronautical Engineer (flight test) with a big Department of Defense contractor.

I'm in the Navy and have a few other flight student friends who are willing to rent out bedrooms from me. 

The airport is undergoing a major expansion, and companies that spend alot of money on research, have started internatinal flights. 

All of a sudden you'll have $2K in flights (easily) and once you throw in a rental car, hotel night(s), food, etc. you'll have 10% of your purchase price just in travel.Anyway, I'm beating a dead horse but this sounds like a horrible idea to me :-)

With that said I’ve been studying the market that I work in which is a hour flight from home for me.

UPDATE****I downloaded "The Miracle Morning" Audiobook and listened to it on my flight to Salt Lake City.

Always nice to be able to expense occasional visits to Vegas but it’s a long flight!

I plan on getting in touch with a realtor soon and I'd like some background information so I don't waste time when I make my flights out there in the upcoming months.Thank you everyone for your help!

And if you're going to invest 4 hours flight away (plus airport waiting times), might as well make it a 17 hour flight instead, right?

Now a days 99% book a flight and pick up the cheque.
