@Kristie EddyIn one of the cities in my market there is actually a "Disruptive Property Ordinance" that allows the city/PD to hold the LANDLORD accountable if the police are called to a residence and determine it is "disruptive".

I'm asking this from a cost/benefit perspective in that, if I can experience a majority of the gain and not have to deal with toilets and tennants and other RE-induced disruptions to my life, then that's worth something to me in terms of return/yield give-up.

I'm not convinced that 3D printers have much relevance for mainstream realtors, but I think that they will be very disruptive in the next 10 years or so, particularly in third world countries.

The location of the leach field and the septic tank can also be useful in knowing if there are trees nearby that may have root systems potentially damaging the septic tank or disrupting the leach field. 

Even with property management, I set up our contract where I get called if the situation is over $200 to repair, so it just seems being disrupted on vacation is part of the territory.
