The first to be built will be a hotel to partner well with the Highland Manor as an event destination. 

@Joseph Mceneaney, Orlando is the single most visited tourist destination in the entire United States with 68 million visitors in 2016 alone.

EA was groovy/hip 20 years ago, with edgy restaurants and The Earl, destinations that attracted tenants and flippers.  

I don't know if this would be a good candidate for a vacation rental since is not really a destination.

A newer master-planned community at Viera has new shops, hospital, school, churches, plus single and multifamily going up like mushrooms.The Port at Canaveral was recently deepened and widened to accommodate larger cruise ships & cargo can offloaded now, Space-X is busy with regular frequent launches, and the military-industrial side is hiring engineers--Northrup has its new Center of Excellence for Manned Flight.

I tell myself, "I was destined to learn this lesson now so that as I buy more rentals, I am well-seasoned".

I suppose you could try to make it some sort of tourist destination.

With economies outside the US slowing, exports getting more expensive in their destination currencies and ever cheaper (in exchange rate) outsourcing costs it’s hard to see how we’re going to generate much wage growth and/or inflation that would spur the Fed to raise rates materially.

As David Cruise just mentioned there are laws that protect tenants.
