I like to have visual effects, auditory effects (hearing), and olfactory effects (smell). 

I'm definitely a visual learner so the videos are great, and since I live in Austin I'm interested in the tree ordinance, also.Where is the next meet up that you and Jerred are referencing?  

But once people get to know the style, and the writer, it can be an effective way to communicate... he did win a Nobel Prize for crying out loud.If you are struggling with visualizing your plan (or maybe communicating your plan to others), I'd like to offer a potential solution.

The feedback is interesting... it almost makes me wish there was a way for people to visually comment on the map.

Keep in mind that inspector will only do a visual inspection so if there are issues behind the walls they wouldn't be able to catch it.

I understand only so much can be taught through visually learning rather than hands on, but that's the point of the post, for people to explain how to physically start. 

Additionally, if there is or is to be a pound, it could well be a restricted area by ordinances due to the preceived dangers of water retention areas and if so there will not be access granted.A pound could also be nothing more than a visual amenity to the subdivision to be enjoyed from afar.
