I would not recommend doing this with travel nurses as they are already background checked.

When AirBnB first got hot in 2014 I used to sublease my rented 1/1 bungalow in Venice Beach when I traveled.

I think the less risky is a long term, but there are plenty of travel nurses that come through who would gladly do a short term (furnished, so something to consider) and won't wreck your place.

Being so new, I can't really report how it will turn out and won't have much time to read about anything as my first load of homework is enough for 3 weeks - I have until Wednesday (and that includes my travels on Saturday then again continent to continent on Monday).

For example, travel nurses and digital nomads are typically looking for very different property types than a family relocating to an area.

Traveling nurses?

I've traveled to both airports multiple times.

People want flexibility, mobility, convenience, and automation...including residents, not just travelers. 

I bought in FL for appreciation and to break even at minimum as I didn't want to realize any add'l income in those properties annually but wanted appreciation and tax benefits. (2 bedroom units / close to the beach not not high-end luxury properties) Ohio for me right now = STR rents at 1.5-3x LTR rents, budget travelers & work travelers that are much more demanding.

The fact that you travel for line work could satisfy a the UW's concerns or supply a letter of explanation.
