We were able to keep the kitchen cabinets and counters (we sprayed them with an epoxy finish that looks like stone counters which cut down on the price and looked really good) along with the laminate floors in the kitchen.

Queue the stunned silence.I guess our old outdoorsy tenant wasn't satisfied with the 3 (yes, THREE) perfectly good toilets in the house, and decided to make a DIY toilet in the back yard.For the next few hours she texted me some very colorful comments about our old tenants while spraying dish soap she had brought along all over the concrete and scrubbing it out as best she could.

If its rough in stage, you could have them pressure it up and spray each threaded joint with soapy water to see if you can find the leak.

If the house was NOT gutted, insulation not removed, flooring not removed and/or wet areas not sprayed for mold, there is a potential for many more problems with that property that may not meet the eye.

someone in another thread mentioned that they used cheap water shutoff valves under their sinks, leading to them breaking several years later when he tried to shut off the water. obviously that was a mess, and it would have been better to buy higher quality valves to begin with.on the other side of the coin, when I remodeled my primary last year, I wanted black outlet and switch covers. instead of buying 25-35 of them at $4 a pop, I bought a $10 can of spray paint, and painted the white ones.

Keep looking,, no to the furniture person,, paint over spray on 1 car and your in trouble..even with seperate stalls the spray paint will waft in between stuff and will cause trouble.

Last year I had a hose ruptured in the back yard, and water was spraying for two days, until I heard water running in the walls late at night when no one was using any water.

Then spray straight bleach, it must be straight bleach. on all of the mold even spray the wood studs. then wait for it to dry.

You can use a product called "wet it and forget it" that you spray on house and prevent mold from growing, or you could paint it a green color to have the mold blend in :)
