I don't know where to invest, really drawn to Columbus for many reasons (some cash flow and stable appreciation)--what's been some people's positive and negative experiences in Columbus? 

Some people are okay with less others wouldn't touch it for that much.

Many people don't want to self manage from out of state, and professional managers can suck up alot of the cash flow, and not do as great of a job as you would've hoped. 

I have yet to have a guest ask for a refill or mention the quality (I tried to pick a nice-looking, not-too-expensive brand).Be careful with the scents -- I had a run of people pulling out and hiding the scents and one or two people complained that they were scent-sensitive in private notes. 

People like to use HELOCS especially now, if they have a very low interest rate first position mortgage, in order to tap into that equity without losing the low interest.

I have seen out of state people come in and think they are getting a whopper of a deal. 

Usually, this is a sign of stability and a preview of the types of people who live in the area. 

Drywall installation and finishing is harder than most people think and whoever did that job - see the tape showing - didn't think too hard about it. 

The same with cleaners and maintenance people.

The people are friendly, the business environment is welcoming, and my real estate investments have provided me with financial freedom.
