The problem with one off leases is that if there is a problem you will end up having to pay an attorney to learn that lease.If you want to go at it alone you might also consult with the attorneys at the title company that close your deal.

Then my partners usually went on title, or if they requested, I would be on title but the attorney would hold the physical note and collateral.Protect yourself - no deal is worth compromising your safety.

I've just done the work myself: get a judgment, file to have wages garnished, place liens on any property they may own (I've had some people come up as being on joint title on a property).Some people will sent up a payment plan as soon as the sheriff shows up to serve them with papers because they're so embarrassed!
