I think the point is that the council tasked their employee to work with the citizens and she listened to both sides and spent several months putting together a very fair piece of regulation.

@Raul Velazquez Jr Everyone is different - some with an accounting background or general knowledge about accounting can handle tax prep on their own with one, maybe two properties.Others like to put systems in place and hire out right away, to free up there time to spend on more valuable tasks and actions.If the latter describes you, I would say start speaking with real estate savvy CPAs ASAP.

 - I'm sure you will be successful ... my advice was intended to reduce the difficulty of your journey .... to put it bluntly, without employment you will have an uphill battle acquiring property - A job makes that task EASY (maybe your wife has a job) .... sacrifice your "lifestyle" for a few years and then live however you want when you no longer need any income beyond your investment income - for me that was a 4-5 year processOn the multi-family, I say if you like it buy it --- As for the specific numbers on the 4plex....
