As a beginner in wealth building and looking for long term residual income I am taking that first step.

I seek to provide enough residual income to provide for myself and my family when I am an old man and unable to work or do as much.

I am looking for good residual income and appreciation.

But it took a while to notice (after getting into it for a few months) that it is not the way to go to attain passive residual income - it's more like a very competitive job.

Fortunately, we have very little debt and one of our rentals is fully paid off so that income is pure residual.  

A mentor told me once you get the 1st one it becomes clearer that building a rental property portfolio is the way to residual streams of cashflow.

My goal is to have a residual income of about $200k a year if not more.
