It’s also key to ask about commission splits and what resources they provide, like marketing or lead generation.

Only reason to do an open house would be to generate new buyer leads.

I figured at the very least it would be a great opportunity to network with veterans in the parking industry, find a few jobs to pass to my Sailors, and I might even get a lead on a deal.

Thus, as I am at this point a ‘hobbyist’ and not a professional I presumed I would simply report whatever minimal profit or loss realized on this first joint flip project as pass through income.

I'm working with the City of Kansas City on determining the highest and best use, which will hopefully lead to building 1-3 new multi-family structures (ideally duplex, triplex, or quadplex).

He would chase leads, show the units, and try to get completed applications turned in.
