Apologies if this has been covered before but google-fu did not uncover anything.Was wondering if it is possible (and if so, how) to transition from a house hack to a BRRRR strategy.Obviously with an FHA you don’t have enough equity to start with to get any cash out with a refi, even if you knock the Reno/ARV out of the park.

As long as there are no fatal flaws and systems are in working order, you can set aside a fund for repair/replace...This is all part of your due diligence...step one would be to remove the property from the market where competition may swipe it from under you and then figure stuff out.
