As far as relocating, after you've chosen the area that best suits you I'd see if friends and family may have someone that needs a roommate so you can find the best spot for yourself before you sign a lease or rent an apartment...Ask Amtrak if they had relocation experts that are in those cities that help with finding housing.Good luck on your career venture and start looking for areas that if your planning on investing in, besides working in has the most potential for you.

Assuming without evidence you are not married...if I were I in your shoes, I would:1) Figure out where most of your friends are living2) Find a convenient block or subdivision in that area that is mostly owner-occupied homes3) Buy a 3-BR house there with an FHA mortgage and move into it4) Get 2 roommates and collect reasonable rent from them5) Live there for at least two years6) Sell when you get married or have another reason to move (take the tax free gain)

Relationships sometimes strain and roommates move out and we military members get that nice little military clause to break a lease when we get orders.

My credit is excellent and I have been living here with my roommates for 6 months now, but here is the clause in the lease that demands a cosigner:24.Attachments: Guaranty Agreements (due on or before August 1, 2016), Lead Based Pain DisclosureI'm not sure if I can get a cosigner by Friday, but more importantly this doesn't seem legal.

It is a 2/2 in Pac Height...Tenant lost his roommate in April and could not afford to stay there by himself... instead of moving out, he paid $5k for someone to move in so that he could negotiate a buyout w me....I ended up paying him $61K....Ugh...
