It gave me a bit of pause that the loan will have to be renegotiated in 5 years at who knows what rate. 

We should all feel free to disagree with each others opinions on here, but again, if you paused for a moment and re-read his post you would see it is not directed at tenants as a whole, but those who are attacking landlords for no reason other than they believe it is unfair.

Yes I just started going about rental arbitrage again I had a new life to start in virginia so Investments took a pause whilst I created a new life in a new state i knew nothing about.

But I think that would give a lot of us pause.

It's all about money moving, not pausing/stopping...the speed of money.

The idea of putting my acquisitions on pause to allow for the seasoning period in order to get these five properties into conforming loans isn't very attractive, because in effect it means skipping out on five other deals.I figure I've got two options:1)  Get a blanket loan on these five. 

You can wrap the head in plastic (grocery bags) to keep the paint roller from drying out if you have to pause for the evening so you don't have to clean it every day.Happy painting!

The market has gone up significantly over the last decade and rents were on pause in early pandemic due to low consequences of non-payment.  

The pandemic of course has caused some sellers to hold off on listing and the buyers not on a timeline to pause temporarily.

My guess is the fed pauses for a couple years before they let inflation get out of control again from housing going through the roof again.
