I was looking into them on the internet and of course every company that sells them says they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I still pay insurance and taxes on it so it's quite simply a liability no matter how you slice it.

I know the first time I ordered a hamburger in AUS with "the works" you get a slice of red beet.

You may get a smaller slice of pie in the end, but the education will be worth it.

@Jesse Schultz - We can't be living in the property because it's in London.....But we can definitely look at something smaller like a duplex...maybe do a partnership if it makes sense for both parties....that would slice the downpayment by half....we just can't wait to get started:-)
