Call Seattle several years behind BA, can Seattle have $5 million dollar Ballard 3 bedroom craftsmen homes in the not too distant future?

In my opinion, investing from a distant is actually easier for me.

Place I'm at, I'm not 100% fond of the schools, and I'll likely need a 'live in quarters' for an aging in-law in the not too distant future.If it was just the wife and I, it would be REI first, time the market for second home second. 

(Just went through this with a distant hard money lender, he was not sure about my comps, so he flew in one day, I drove him around Clearwater, explained each comp, went over the numbers on each property, grabbed lunch, then drove him back to the airport!

Maybe you saved it or maybe you got an unexpected windfall that somehow showed up from a distant relative you hardly knew existed.
