Relationships can get tricky if mixing personal and business.  

I do happen to represent one who has a special product for foreign nationals.On the investment side, I am big proponent of Texas obviously because of a good mix of decent cash flow and appreciation, affordability, no state income tax and great landlord laws. 

It can be challenging enough managing rentals in your same town then add the layer of being an absentee landlord to the mix requires careful planning.  

A few preliminary questions are outlined below.Some questions to ask broker:What is the unit mix (number of 1Bed, 2Bed, etc.)?

A mix of tax-free munis and energy stocks might come close, with significantly less hassle.  

There is a potential great deal I am looking at right now to convert a mixed-purpose building into a 4 unit building.

@Jonathan Godes is a good mix of people with Lenox ties or surrounding community ties and people with no ties to Lenox.

I have a mix of 15 and 30 year mortgages on the properties we own and that's because I just can't make up my dang mind.
