If an anonymous trust owns your LLC, that's technically a three-party agreement (the trust).

Plus, if you self-manage, you'll need a regular LLC as the shell operations public facing company (you want separation between the asset holding Series-LLC and the public facing shell (no assets) LLC).If you use land trusts you can be exempt of transfer tax - except in PA (see how-to-set-up-your-real-estate-ownership-anonymously).

The living trust/LLC combination is just one way to conduct business or own assets anonymously.

The legislation was intended to create THE safest and most anonymous entity.

The best structure is a Series LLC with anonymity trusts so that you compartmentalize the assets if there is a litigation while hiding your ownership and the company ownership of the underlying asset.

Keep it anonymous if you can.

(I am not inclined to believe that having an attorney be the “face” of your LLC gives you anonymity in case of a judgement: while I have no experience with the legal declaration forms, it is my belief that one has to truthfully list all assets anyway.
