I agree with Collin.The Smokies do have a lot of competition, so you need to have a view, decent location, good to great amenities etc to stand out.We have a 6-bedroom cabin there, but I imagine a 3 to 4 bedroom would be in the sweet spot of not too big or not too small.

Since you're so close to Loyola and not too far from Northwestern, I imagine you might have a pool of people who need temporary furnished housing while they study, do a medical rotation, or travel in the medical industry.

If i hadn't tried several other things, I would have never found this one and I'd be sitting on the rental portfolio doing nothing right now.

For me, the first pass at underwriting is simply about determining if a deal is worth exploring further.In the current market, I’d say 9 out of 10 deals are dead on arrival.

Or if you heard about them but decided not to work with them for xyz reason, I'd interested in that too.
