When we made our winter visit this year, I found that a couple of the TVs had never even been turned on since last year - they were still in guest mode for the times and dates I had programmed last fall.

For me real estate is fun, but it is a means to an end.

Let's just do some fun math.

Here is a suggestion , maybe @James Wise would let one of these people tag along with him or one of his crew for a day of fun and excitement ? 

I went to Brandon Turner's event in Las Vegas it was so much fun.

Since we are in Maine and we are coming out of the winter season I've been spending time marketing and getting the property booked for the Spring/Summer.

I think it would be a lot more fun if she was on board with going to look at properties and in participating in the day to day operations of things.

House has solar panels so PGE in non-winter runs at $30 max.My idea originally when I was single was to keep living in this property until it appreciated enough (eg 5 to 10 yrs) to sell it.However, I realized that the air ducts and soundproofing of the top part of house vs bottom part of house makes it such that it's not a great rental as the way I described.
