Separately, I've got someone who moved out of their place (similar to you) temporarily living in a development property I'm doing while waiting for permits ... maybe someone else has something like that.If I was in your situation, I'd make plans to put everything in storage and treat it like a 45 day vacation.

It has been very well taken care with the major nuts and bolts like the windows, roof etc being in good condition currently but it was basically treated as "if it's renting and not broke don't fix it".

if your friend creates a note for you and places a lien on your home it's treated just like a mortgage and during closing the note gets paid off.if on the other hand you best friend just slips you 30K, the bank doesn't care.
