As a finance major, I only skimmed the surface of Real Estate, but want to continue to gain more exposure.

I still believe in those old fashioned predictions to determine our REI strategies .... 

If you can keep house hacking in some form or fashion that would be an amazing wealth generator!

I knew I wouldn't be receiving much since most of our business is digitized (e-bills, etc) but occasionally I get a vendor/service that wants a good ol' fashioned "address". 

Being nearby and having long-term renters sounds on the surface to be less risky and more manageable.

On the surface the numbers look good but some of the conversation with the realtor has raised some concerns and I'm not sure how / what to ask to clear these up.

The originally white popcorn ceiling is now yellow over the entire surface.

What appears cheaper on the surface could cost you dearly if a claim should arise. 

I think we should assume that the proposed new tax will be in some fashion an addition to the existing tax already imposed (i.e., the one posed at ordinary rates, not capital gain rates).
