They might have a junior agent willing to try it out.You as a buyer have a certain amount of capital which took a long time to save and make it count which is understandable.

It's possible that the tax bill will end up being a wash if you can count taxes paid abroad against your US tax bill, but I'd suggest finding a CPA with plenty of experience with the Chinese system and how it intersects with IRS regs.

Also I should point out it was advertised as being 575 sq ft, so when the living space (tax office doesn't care about living space, it counts the outer envelope) was measured it was a good 100 sq ft less than what I thought I was getting.I also figured I'd use the small size to my advantage.

I found one that I like and had good pricing it was going to be about $75 sq/ft (this includes garage - which won't count for sales comps) about $160k for about $90 sq/ft which include everything from plans & permits to appliances and landscaping.
