PIN Toledo is a member of the Ohio Real Estate Association and is focused on investing excellence in Lucas County/Toledo and the surrounding areas...one of the major differences between the Toledo REIA group and PIN is the lack of "paid speakers" who are speaking with the goal of selling their service/expertise.

They also usually have a different speaker every meeting as well so you get to learn about a variety of different REI topics.

I've attended one of my local REIA meetings so far, the meeting was about goal setting and fortunately the guest speakers goal for the year was to help someone with their first deal.

Speaker will be talking on some key topics that you will remember from the podcasts.

If you check the meeting notice in the Networking Events forum of this site, there is a meeting at Tommy's Pizza in Dublin this Thursday and you will find the main speaker's topic will have some very helpful elements related to evaluating markets, not to mention it is a good opportunity to network with experienced investors who can be helpful as well.

We are excited to feature a guest speaker from The Lexington Fair Housing Council.

Most of the speakers and vendors were not local and I think that was a disadvantage.
