No one gets grants for land, they get grants for the story of the proposed opportunity/impact.Most grants will require some form of site control (this changes grant to grant so I'd check with funders on what they consider "ownership") and even more grants will want to be the last funds in to complete a project's capital stack and will often ignore any projects that aren't "shovel ready".I strongly suggest doing as Barry said first and make sure the project is feasible before spending too much time on it, however, when it comes to identfying grants, I'd start with the local government and go outwards until you get to a state level to find any programs to support the development.

No worries mate,By all means.Move to Toledo and do the same thing lolI'm alone here and a feel like a kid in a candy store heheWe do have a decent sized operation now so things are different for us but let's say I wanted to retire tomorrow.I could sit on my A$$ all day, send out the odd yellow letter, make the odd call, buy the odd property and make $30,000 - $50,000 a deal easy.Rinse and repeat 3-4 times a year.Peace of cake. Now, it took me 5+ years of 100+ hr weeks to get that stage. All good things take time.Get your shovel mate and see you soon hehe

Insurance Broker Needed For Texas, multiple rental properties

I'm hoping I can simplify things a bit, while leveraging multiple properties for a better average price.Lenny, a single policy is very easy to do, but both TX and FL are difficult states to insure and there is little chance 1 company will have the best pricing in both states.I'd suggest working with a TX broker and a FL broker like Jared, and have each of them quote all locations.
