I would consider the jurisdiction you are in and the nearby existing development to gauge how this process may be. 

That being said, here’s what I would recommend for a thorough DD process:-Build a plan in advance (setup a spreadsheet, meet with the team, etc)-be prepared to take a lot of pictures -document notes with each room (we use notes on Apple and share it with the team)-align the team on standardizing information (example: what does “bad” mean, what does “okay” mean, etc - everyone looks at things differently and you want to make sure the notes are accurate during your debrief)-bring in professionals for things you can see, like sewer lines hope this short list helps! 

Operated on a fiduciary capacityin other words if the above was done and the investment still went south, then that’s just x% outcome (risk) occurring, and a natural part of the investment process.

The rehab is done this weekend so I'm not totally done, but I finished the buying process, so I can at least share those numbers with you.Purchase price was 75k. 

I went to Federa's website and found SmartBuy DIY where I did by myself every process from start to finish.

We are in the process of buying a second home in San Antonio/TX and are really interested financing it with an in the All in One Loan but the loan officer tells us we can not deed it into an LLC and could only purchase it in an "Inter Vivos Revocable Trust”.

Not sure of that process. 

Just to clarify my previous post, I would like to say that while I've experienced challenges with mngt, RTR/Rent to Retirement has been extremely helpful in navigating this situation so I know what my options are and so I don't feel alone in this process.
