I've known some to buy on hard money and then refinance later as well. 

Did you go with an LLC right when starting out or was there a more appropriate transition point say one or two years later? 

That means it is a crime to convey later, although the government gets immunity for selling it to you, of course.  

When problems arise later on the manufacturer says it's not the product that failed it's the contractors poor application of the product that is causing issues.

Unfortunately, there are also a few people who have popped up on BP trying to sell a crappy real estate-related program but fortunately the majority of the experienced investors on here don't fall under this category (plus the program spammers tend to get banned sooner or later).  

Good on you for starting and thinking about this now rather than later... honestly I wish I did that, BUT all of our journeys are different and unique!

I should be paying the entire amount back no later than April of 2023 and maybe as soon as January 2023. 

Later I sold the condo and did a 1031 exchange to bought properties out of state.

I looked at them in 08 and got into contract for 125k each thinking what a deal.. one year later I was buying the same houses at the courthouse steps for 30 to 50k each..

I have been able to supplement my income between gigs with the profit from the short term rentals and I have been able to pay down my mortgage quickly enough that I am on track to completely own this property outright by no later than the end of 2027.
