@Mark Schneider, Tacking multiple parties is not hard in theory, each person's period of possession is added to the next possessor's, -but proving all the elements of adverse possession for each party gets tricky.  

The investment you select needs to be one where you are going to be able bring the elements at hand both positive and negative in line to realize a return that justifies your efforts!

Now the only issue they have is a burnt heating element after 7 years.
