Unless you're truly treating real estate as your full time business, real estate for most people is just another piece in their asset puzzle.

You can certainly join a REIA and that will help but it’s just one piece of the puzzle.

This piece of the puzzle is what I believe you are missing. 

But something always puzzles me is: for example you bought a house for $75000 and you turn around and rent it for $1500/mo.

Actually, you could take it a step further and become a Realtor yourself.And I'm puzzled about your credit situation.

I am puzzled by what this buyer wants me to do.

Admittedly, I did not understand title and was puzzled how a title company coukd provide me a title report (or profile) and not catch certain items. 

I have found with REI that I can open my mind and solve puzzles and I must think outside of the box (especially when you really have zero of your own money available to invest!).

I believe I am missing a piece to this puzzle.
