The USA is still the best country in the world for investing (and freedom) and I really have been around.In my opinion, for what it's worth, leaving the USA to invest in Spain would be like leaving a great party to go to a wake!

They tend to keep things in house and are have a bit more freedom to do want they want in these types of situations.

Passively investing in the broad stock market has definately retired more Americans than Real Estate for no effort at all because of the power of compounding.

The project took too long, partly due to the power company taking 3 months to move service and poor communication with the county for permits.
