Politicians here seem to have a never-ending thirst for revenue, but often enact legislation that drives away the source of revenue.

And this state, city and county are ALL still woefully under water with their obligations (i.e. pensions).For far too long, these stupid politicians have simply over promised the fat cat unions more money than what the state can afford to pay. 

most of this lead nonsense about casual contact with lead is ridiculous but politicians get votes passing legislature that doesn't affect their own pocket book or those of their ignorant voters.

They(the r.e. commission) are politicians and surely aren't looking out for the consumers best interest here.

You hear the politicians screaming that the government needs to help home owners keep there house.

NA Onyido Since the bankruptcy, and the new and improved leadership (business savvy...and not politicians), Detroit is on the rise...and fast.  6 months ago I wouldn't touch them...even though you could make a great return on your money.  

Here's your answer; You asked the question to a bunch of contractors, not law-making politicians.

This is a Federal program and the Politicians have not solved the problem with how to fund it.

What's worse, local politicians are at a loss with solving the problem as it very quickly becomes a property tax issue and homeowners are having a very hard time getting property insurance.
