Is it legal in Oneida County in Upstate NY to charge tenants a flat rate for utilities?

What many fail to recognize is the media and their source of information continues to feed this fallacy (mostly because they charge you to be a part of the community) and it will not end well for many.

The reality is the opposite - if it's not in writing then the PMC doesn't have to provide the service or can charge extra for it!

You should use a state-specific lease that is clear regarding the start and end dates, the monthly rent, the fees that will be charged (ex. pets) and those that may be charged (ex late fee), the amount of the security deposit, and a clear list of rules associated with the property (no smoking inside is a big one as are rules related to parking).

It's not as easy as it looks on YouTube and if you don't know the process on how everything gets connected, you will get charged 10x what the videos tell you on the Interwebz.

We charge a daily fee of $50 which usually will make up for it and then some plus the additional bookings who would not have booked without the option, so in my mind it is a no brainer.
