Can you imagine an injury occurring where the judge/jury think your property is responsible but you are not? 

I can see potential in all of those markets but I could imagine Corpus Christi may be the easiest market to find a deal in out of those.

Imagine someone claiming to receive $2,000/month in rent, maybe even have a lease and deposits from a family member to make it look legit, but then the market rent is only $500/month. 

They completely forgot to report the burst pipes until several weeks after the incidental, and along the way they haven’t been very helpful, forgetting to email me back, not taking the initiative, etc.Not really sure if anything can be done—just looking to avoid the same chaos in the future.

Each unit in teh building has their own master water shutoff valve, so I can't imagine it will be that difficult to get some hardware + automated billing system through someone.

It's a cute little 2bed/2bath on bluff mountain and it's performing better than I could have imagined.  

Send it both via registered mail to the last known address (ie your property unless they gave you a forwarding address) and email it. 

I immediately emailed the landlord and property manager that I agree with their decision (i haven’t stepped my foot on this property, don’t even have a key.)

I could only imagine those LOs that started during the Refi boom...
