I remember vaguely thinking it was weird that someone would accuse a non-lender of "redlining," since the classic definition is very much a lender-specific thing: drawing lines on maps and not being willing to do mortgages for properties on the "wrong" sides of those lines.

I'm not accusing them of that!

I'm not accusing anyone of doing this, simply stating what has happened. 

When I saw the OP being accused of being responsible for the shoddy work, I imputed guilt or fault.  

Somebody wanting to sue for you backing out of a bad deal or accusing you of selling them a property with defects like unknown termite damage).

Without making any accusations toward any entity you're dealing with, its easy for a sales person to make optimistic predictions encouraging you to buy when it's not their money at stake. 

Definitely not accusing you as being one of them as I don't know you and haven't read any of your posts before.It's just that appreciation might not be worth it if I have to:1. 

Those deals are so good that I dare not say more on this forum or I might get accused of something else. :-)
