There is a lot to take in here, and being new (about to dive into my first investing foray) it's all overwhelming so please be patient with my question and thoughts.As far as the millennials are concerned, to me it seems they are heading to be life long renters.

There has been a huge revamp of the downtown area in recent years and Millennial entrepreneurs have been flocking to the city.

Even after I quit my W2 I am still able to live the lifestyle I want, and put money into my savings and retirement accounts, month after month. ...I'm not your typical millennial.

People today, especially millennials, want an open floorplan where they can entertain, have friends over, etc.

FWIW...I had 2 millennial doctors living next to me.

I love this story and Im asking because I talk with a lot of millennials who just want to get rich tomorrow and no long term vision for investing.

@Charlie MacPherson good to see someone from Massachusetts contributing to my question I know exactly the 3 family for $619K you’re talking about on Erie Sreet and have asked many people from Dorchester who grew up there saying it’s one of the worst neighborhoods but I’m surprised millennials aren’t being pushed out of renting southie and Adams Street in dot and trying these other areas that are a bit more intimidating so they can still stay close to Boston

The arts district is one  of the newest additions to get downtown cleand up, and attract the  millennial crowd.
