CAN lights in bedrooms instead of ceiling fans?

Always disliked the recessed cans as theydon't disperse light as nicely which is why you need morew/o the LED bulbs, they add heat and energyneed lots of work to install PROPERLY and to code (heat and spacing issues)

I like whoever above said the 2 year plan; learn for at least a year before you try anything unless it's a house hack or a cheaper multi that will get you some cash flow and get you some experience, both good and bad, to see what you like and dislike.
