I'm able to do this as a broker, I would venture to say that larger banks/lenders may not allow their LO's to accept your credit, and may require a pull even for a prequalification.

I realize leveraging seems to be the name of the game, LO, wrap around etc etc.   

Admittedly I would L O V E to have some guidance for my first deal but it looks like Snap Flip isn't a mentoring company so much as an educational and loan company. 

You need to talk to a rockstar LO that knows VA and REI.

Hello everyone I am also new and was wanting to know if I could get a mortgage loan with a credit score in the upper 500s I'm self-employed first time buyer does anyone  know if I would qualify I would rather do L/O than wholesales the wholesaling thing u need to know people u can sell to quick or if u know how long it takes to build a score thank you 

I want to start as LO.

I talked to them in 2010 when i had a semi complicated business model. and of course they lead you one you send your bizz plan.. and very few questions later lo and behold your approved.. subject to underwriting which will be 10k.. they preyed on beginners who wanted larger loans which no beginner on the planet would ever get from a legit lender.so I was like no way dude.. you did not ask enough questions.. so i passed then learned on American greed they are were crooks of the first order.

I don't know that I've ever met a 1st gen African LO, but I've met 1st gen LO Russians, Latinas, Brits... and to the extent that African accents are associated with "Nigerian Prince" schemes, note that the overwhelming majority of LOs doing shady things circa 2004-2007 had accents identical to what you would expect my accent to be based on my profile picture, so you certainly shouldn't assume that I'm not shady based on my accent any more than you should assume someone is shady if they have an accent that sounds African.
