I purchased a 1 BR 900sqft condo in 2021 with a depreciable tax basis of ~$275k and spent most of 2021 and first half of 2022 renovating the property (new appliances, flooring, painting, furniture, bathroom renovation, new kitchen countertops, new electric heaters, insulation, fireplace/pellet stove).

Jan 18 noticed a water line in my stove after knowing I cleaned the same waterline when I purchased the home.

Her insurance put her up in a hotel for a while, and I filed a claim with them (it was her fault due to negligence, she left food in a pot on the stove ON and left for hours).

It's better to just not have a stove in there -- the triggering offense for most city code violations -- and do a coffee bar, etc.

An agent that recently showed the property reached to stating that their client love the property but would like to know if the landlord would be okay with installing a gas line or gas stove either at their cost or landlord cost.

This would be to run it to where the stove is.
