Not if your frontal cortex is melted when you arrive home after nine hours of repetitive bullsh** floating in a stew of mediocrity and your days off are spent watching the minute hand spiral toward the inevitability that you must once again return to imbibe of said stew the next day.

Costs can really spiral out of control when you not only have to renovate, but also undo someone else's crappy renovation attempts.

Not sure I'll do more in IL just due to the state funding crisis/death-spiral our state gov't is in.  

I've seen way too many apartment buildings spiral very fast when there is poor management and the owner doesn't check on the property.

This situation is going  to be a downward spiral and unless you are intending to operate as a charity it is time to cut your loses and find a new tenant.

My thought was, if needed, to add a spiral staircase off the back porch with a fireman's pole.

NOTHING can spiral upward forever.

Owner spent the maint. reserves and gradually spiraled down?

Of course, the rest spiraled and ended up much over. 

Found a doozy on a routine inspection recently - I lost track at 24 cats 😕 - this tenant has been spiraling for a bit, but needless to say will be gone quickly.
