I know we generally talk about redlining in terms of access to mortgages and other financial instruments, but doesn't NAR have some policies around it too and how real estate agents operate around the topic?

I think the main issue here, is not working with a trusted broker. 1 bad review will ruin a small broker shop's reputation.

I’d recommend connecting with local property managers and agents as soon as possible—agents can help you identify deals that fit your BRRRR criteria, and property managers can give insight into rental demand and market rents.

Any recommendations when it comes to: - Real estate agents we should work with? 

My partner and I found this deal through an agent that gave us a list of all the 4b2b properties in the area and we sent direct mail to every household.

We were in contact with a Redfin agent who also has a STR in the same building and gave us addresses that allows STR in Honolulu.

Aside from being licensed in all 3 states what else should I look for in a good quality agent? 

- How important is having a strong agent or team when getting back into investing?
