I'm 33.Another idea I had rattling around (because a side note is a good buddy of mine also wants to get into RE) is to flip a house sometime in the next couple years to earn that down payment sooner.

They failed to strap the pipes so now there is major rattling and pipe contraction noise in the walls where there didn't use to be.

Chad, you might visit your parents house once a month but do you know about every dripping faucet or spot in the basement that water comes in wkth a heavy rain or rattling pipes or inadequate drain lines.
